All right then, so here’s what’s going on this week….
Monday – We’re going to finish talking about Coronado, and THEN we’re going to have a little quiz. However, the kids can totally use their notes on it! It should be an easy grade.
Tuesday – First of all…the Cortez paper is due today! Be sure to have the final copy and the outline ready at the beginning of class. This is the day we’re going to review the information in the chapter that will be needed on the test. There’s no mystery to the exam. I’ll read all the questions to the students and tell them exactly what I want on it! We’ll also go over the Columbian Exchange. Did you know that before Columbus sort of crashed into the New World (while looking for the Old World) there were NO horses in North America? Also, no cows? The people here had never seen a chicken before, either. Of course, the people over in Europe had never had Corn…or Potatoes…or chocolate!
Wednesday – We’ll play a review game for the Chapter 4 exam. It should be fun. As always…donuts to the winners!
Thursday – Chapter 4 Exam, day 1.
Friday – Chapter 4 Exam, day 2. Yep, it’ll take up TWO days for this one. Lots of writing!
