Hello 9th graders!
Holy cow, the time is going quickly! We still have a lot to cover, and not a lot of time to cover it.
Remember, your Q4 Project is due next Monday! If you haven't really started it, and some of you have not, then you really might want to get that started. There are fewer grades the last quarter, because of finals and whatnot, so each grade counts for a little more. Be sure to have your project done on time!
Here are the plans for the week...
Monday - We going to talk about WWII, one last time! I know we have spent a bit of time on this. On Monday we'll go over the specifics of what I want you to take away from the material. We'll also touch base on the DBQ I assigned last week.
Tuesday - The Nagasaki/Hiroshima DBQ packet is due today. Please have all the questions completed. Today you will use the answers to those questions, as well as any other information you may possess, to complete an in-class essay.
Wednesday - Please have your CF Notebooks complete and ready to check. I'm going to give you a CFT on your Critical Facts today, so be sure to know them! I'll also give you the remainder of your Critical Facts for the Year.
Thursday - We'll take a look at the next chapter in the text. What the heck is the Cold Way, anyway? We'll figure it out. I'll assign some of the end of chapter questions. (Pg. 251 1-8) They'll be due next Tuesday.
Friday - We'll discuss the cold War, and how it affected the people of New Mexico. I know it's not a lot of time, but I would like to finish up the chapter discussion today. Tempus Fugit!
