Hey 9th graders!
So, here's what's going on, in case you missed it!
Monday we had kind of Socratic seminar that covered some of the things in the chapter. I thought it was a pretty interesting conversation, and though we did sort of go a little afield from the chapter material it was definitely worth it.
You have two tests this week, and the class decided to have the QCFT4 on Wednesday, and the Chapter 4 exam on Thursday. Fair enough. Remember, the QCFT doesn't count as a grade but the highest scoring class gets something cool. Whatever your score is, it should be higher than it was last time. The data should be interesting to look at!
You should have 1-59 in your notebook, 9th graders. If I don't check it this week I'll surely check it next week, so get caught up if you aren't! I'll give you the next batch, up to 70-something this week.
For the chapter 4 exam....know the key facts about Prohibition...know about women's suffrage...know about some of the civil rights issues that existed in NM in the 1920s...and know about the Teapot Dome Scandal. Remember, this is an open-note test (which I very rarely give) so be prepared! I'm expecting a lot of good grades.
