Hey 7th Graders,
All right, first things first... So, the FIRST person to recite the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of each class will get a homework pass. You can't start your recitation until AFTER the tardy bell rings. If you start before, it doesn't count!
This week we'll start the next thematic Unit. This is a cool unit, with lots of great stories. :) This is the last week of the quarter, and any work form this point on will be reflected on the 2nd quarter grades. I'll give you a Guided Reading Worksheet on Chapter 4 at the beginning of the week, and make it due on Thursday, but I'll give you some time in class to work on it. I'll add a copy of the worksheet to this post, in case you lose yours. Also, you'll start a position paper on Hernando Cortes, but that won't be due till next week.
